GHM Planning has been operating since 2001 and has a proven track record in providing professional planning and conservation advice for both the public and private sector. He is a Chartered Town Planner and qualified Conservation Officer, a member of the RTPI and an affiliate member of the IHBC and has specialist qualifications in planning and conservation.

GHM Planning has experience in providing professional advice on planning and conservation related issues and takes a pragmatic approach to proposed development with an in-depth knowledge of planning and conservation legislation and policy. The company has experience of securing permission for schemes having balanced the social, economic and environmental elements and with our Local Planning Authority experience has a detailed understanding of the planning application process and requirements to achieve successful outcomes.

The practice has a network of other professional planning consultants and works with professionals including architects, highway, ecology and tree consultants, to provide a full planning service.

GHM Planning also has over 15 years of providing planning officer cover and assistance to Local Planning Authorities.  This has included temporary cover for maternity, illness or vacant posts, providing on-going support, dealing with one off complex planning applications and dealing with batches of applications.  We also provide Local Planning Authorities with conservation advice on one-off applications and on a consultancy basis, commenting on applications affecting listed buildings and conservation areas.
